who doesn’t love fudge around the holidays? this is one that i have been making for a little while, and have adapted so much that i don’t recall it’s origin. but trust me, it is delicious!this is a yummy fudge that everyone will enjoy, but no one will realize is actually not too bad for you! full of super ingredients and it is so simple to prepare. no baking required and it takes no time at all to make. enjoy!
yummy black walnut fudge
5 tbsp cocoa powder
4 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
4 tbsp raw honey
1 tbsp sunflower seed butter
1 tbsp macadamia nut butter
2 tbsp crunchy almond butter [i use almond hazelnut, actually]
handful of hammons black walnuts
combine the cocoa powder, honey, coconut oil and nut and seed butters in a food processor. it helps if all of your ingredients are room temperature. i like to put half of the cocoa powder in first, then all of the other ingredients, then put the rest of the cocoa on top so that it is well distributed. blend until fully combined. sometimes i put the walnuts in the fp as well to incorporate them right into the fudge, sometimes i leave them aside, it’s up to you! spread the “batter” into a loaf pan and if you haven’t put the walnuts in yet, sprinkle the top with them. let it set in the fridge for a few hours and it will be ready to cut. try to keep it cool because it will melt quite easily due to the coconut oil.
